i hate public transport

Had a great day at the movies and Bridge Rd with Susan and Steph :) Fame was alright I suppose...500 days of Summer was better :D I didn't buy anything on Bridge Rd except for food, but Susan bought shoes, a skirt and her lowback leotard thingo...Steph bought a lot of tights LOL

BUT ON THE WAY HOME, MY DAY JUST HAD TO BE RUINED BY YARRA TRAMS

!@%^&@#%!^@#

After a day of shopping, who the hell has coins?? So it's not like I could buy a ticket to get home right? Since I couldn't do anything (whether or not I intended on getting a ticket is irrelevant...haha) I just sat down. A plain-clothed police/tram chick came up to check the ticket machine and then turned straight to me and asked to check my ticket while flashing her badge etc etc

So I told her I had no coins, and then she wrote me up straightaway...got my address, called Susan to verify my address and then got all the bits of paper blahblah

Whatever, I'm fighting it =__= stupid unfairness of public transport ticket machines GO DIE IN A HOLE

500 days of summer

Good movie...cute guy :D and cute girl, but she was kindof a bitch haha...but it was interesting to watch a chick flick from a guy's point of view

Hilarious thing happened when Lisa was buying her timtam thing from Gloria Jeans...I was standing next to a billboard (probably a 50cm gap between me and the billboard) and a bunch of guys tried to walk past us...JUST as Lisa tried to move me out of the way, one of the guys thought he could squeeze through the gap and completely faceplanted against the billboard HAHA

I guess it was funnier at the time...but me and Lisa agreed that we don't usually laugh at things like that, but this time we SERIOUSLY couldn't stop laughing :P It was literally like something from a movie, when a happy-go-lucky kid is distracted and smacks into a pole or something hahaha

Um apart from that not much else happened...we found Min and the sticks in State Library and then a bitchy security guard kicked us out because they were doing work and Lisa and I were gossiping as usual........ :P

going through old stuff

Who knew cleaning my room could be so fun.......

MAN I MUST BE BORED

Anyways, yesterday I tidied out a few shelves and I came across a stack of old birthday cards, letters from friends when I moved schools, and a script I wrote for a puppet show in year 4 HAHAHAHA

One of my friends...at the age of 11...wrote a letter declaring her love for 2 guys, and then continued to say that ANOTHER guy liked her...and then bitched about 2 girls having a bitchfight...and then continued to tell me that her teacher was hot :D

AT THE AGE OF 11 ROFLMAOOOOOO I got the biggest kick out of that...so I facebook messaged her and we had a few laughs HAHAHA

I put all that good stuff into a box, and I figured the next time I tidy my shelf will be in 2015 so I'll laugh about it all over again :D

and TODAY shock horror, I decided to exercise.

MMHM! Putting that silent exercise bike into use, whilst watching old DVD's of my piano days...and now I understand why I'm such an awkward person =/ and I also understand how I got pretty good at piano (THANKS MUM!). Funniest part was the duets with Steph and Susan...we are sooo the trio since FOREVER haha

rye 22/09

Weather was bipolar as usual, but still pretty good :D In total, we had 3 cars filled with people all following one another all the way to Rye...me and my cuz switched to Susan's car, Surae switched to Jason's car and David and the gossipy women switched into our car

After a bumpy ride, Susan was very concerned for the welfare of her honeycake, but the cake was in top condition when we got there (except the cakeplate broke HAHA). We drove off to Sorrento for lunch...Uncle Charlie was permanently on the phone though, and only agreed to come if there was reception LOL. In between food and cooking, us "kids" played on the playground heh.....pretty sweet bbq if you don't count the number of caterpillars that like to dangle off trees =/
the one on the right literally did a shit when I tried to put it back onto the floor =__=

We did the usual touring around the beaches as we always do when people decide to come to Rye with us...I'm soooo over it and I seriously think Dad needs to find new beaches to tour :P Afterwards, we headed to the peninsula springs :D I LOVE THAT PLACE. I would absolutely retire and spend my lifetime in the hot springs hahaha

Last time we went they only had what...4 pools? and now they've opened up 3 more :D This time was loads more fun cos there were people I could hang out with (as opposed to spending time with squabbling mothers), and more things to do :D Surae and I checked out the sauna and everyone had a go on the weird foot wobbling things o.o A few of us sucked it up and hung out in the FREEZING pool HAHA it was hilarious to see Susan jump in since she's so intolerant to the cold...

We ate lunch leftovers for dinner and omg everything tastes amazing when you're hungry!! I had like 5 different types of cake haha...we played big 2, bullshit and snap with the leftover jumbo cards from formal invites which was hilarious, especially bullshit :D David and Susan were the last two players left and we put a 5 second rule on the game because Susan spent SOOOO long shuffling through her disorganised mess of cards :P I also discovered that Jason SUCKS at snap, and Surae and I are awesome. HAHA

Jacky ended up bailing on her piano lessons, and now I really wanna know what happened to the 2 students that thought they had a lesson...we couldn't get in touch with either of them so I hope they weren't too pissed off hahaha

Got home at some late hour and now I really wanna go back :( SUMMER OMG HURRY UP!

ohay!

We cool.

New part of Chaddy is AWESOME! Sportsgirl is so big I actually got lost D: Bought a summer dress that was similar to D's but her pattern was different :) Lisa bought shorts, and Erika bought a top that I tried on...but it looked better on her :P I'm actually so excited to see the rest of the place finish its renovations...HELLO TIFF&CO! hahaha

Yesterday I got another haircut...after a LOT of epic planning, Amanda finally made it :D We got it done at Orange Wedding, which was good but not fantastic ie, I wouldn't go there again but I'm happy with the cut :)

And because my mum is a typical asian mother, she took photos of me the minute I got home because I reminded her of my 7-year-old self =___=

(i love that she can't use a camera and focuses on the background haha)

pianoooo!

Had a tiny little concert with Megan and David today :D It's a huge ego killer to hear David play....what a prooooo!! I guess that's the difference between being pretty good at piano and being professionally talented and studying at Julliard etc etc :) I have to trudge over to the piano every night, whereas David happily ditches dinner to go play...waahh

He played some Brahms, Chopin and Liszt...SUCH a diva, complaining about chair height and key slipperyness :P Dad had to get out a shorter chair, bring out a few pillows, get the Mr Sheen to fix the slipperyness...gosh darnnnn, when it was my turn to play 1) I felt really inadequate to go after him, 2) had to change the height of the seat and 3) the keys were REALLY nonslip o.o

but what was even cooler was when Megan had to play violin, but forgot to bring the accompaniment music...HE JUST MADE IT UP ON THE SPOT! WTHHH! (...ok for what it's worth it's a pretty popular concerto BUT STILL!)

Afterwards he gave me some ideas on my Debussy, but I seriously struggle with my small hands :( and I have new blisters from those glissandos grr

Anyways here's some pics because my parents are so asian =__= Last time I had a lesson with him was around 10 years ago, so mum and dad got all sentimental and had to take a photo and put it next to the old photo haaahaha

It's so much less intimidating to have lessons with a pro in their 20's, rather than having lessons with Stephen who's pretty old and kinda makes me shit my pants :)

DINNER!

hahaha it was fun...we gave Megan's mum some kinda asian alcohol that tastes disgusting but she was pretty high LOOL now I know why Megan's the way she is.....hahaha :P Dad got to release his exercise junkie on David because my cousin (apparently he has an English name that I am yet to discover) is one of those typical weak asians HAHA...last time he decided to go for a run and didn't even make it halfway around the park :P

Anyways that killed a whole night and now I am, as usual, falling behind on homework :(

Jazz Soiree '09!

Why have I not been to one of these before???? BEST MUSICAL NIGHT EVER!

So yesterday was FULL ON PACKED - Wind Symphony in the morning, Explosive rehearsal during recess, International lunch, NO SPARES ALL DAY, Robyn's after school and then the Jazz Soiree

Except FOR SOME STUUUUPID REASON Wind Symphony was cancelled in the morning and replaced by Stage Band...CMON AT LEAST GIVE US SOME NOTICE? I ended up being at school at 7:30 for no reason at all (finished up on my chem titration booklet though, so it wasn't a total waste...if that counts as the 'positive' side of things =___=)

The recess rehearsal was just to check amps and stuff, I was totally irrelevant until MrStudentTeacher decided to improv with my flute part :D SOO awesome...I really don't understand how people can just listen to a piece and make stuff up o.o The rehearsal cut into my psych class though (yay), and I love that when you're REALLY late to a class then teachers don't care cos they assume you have a legit reason :P

International lunch was funnnnn! We got there a bit late, so basically we ate icing....hahaha, here's the cake we decorated with Tra and Irena :D

-blahblah-

After school I was in a serious stress, because we had no hot water from our wires shortcircuiting....the guy was fixing it AND I SERIOUSLY NEEDED TO SHOWER BEFORE I WENT TO ROBYN'S! I got there late, but not after a frenzy of hairdrying, FINDBLACKCLOTHES, makeupping and getting all my things I needed for the soireeeeee!

WHICH WAS AMAZING! OH MY GODDDDDDDDD

It was so good there are literally no highlights...who the hell can pick a favourite out of all the items!?!! TOO GOOD. I was barely in it, which was a plus because I got to listen to everybody :D The soloists were absolutely amazing...I wish SO BADLY that I could singggg! And even more, I wish I could make up crap on the spot :O I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW STEVE SEDERGREEN&CO CAN DO IT! *hail*

recordings!

Explosive :D Erika and Birooooo (+ teachers and me randomly tooting in the middle somewhere)

Falling Under composed/sung/piano by Annabelle, with Steph (violin), Liz (cello) and Liselle (trumpet)......pureeee awesome = this song

Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree - Swing Choir (so cute heh)

Makin' Whoopee, sung by Maddy :D (German exchange studenttt) + Steve Sedergreen Ensemble

I cbf uploading more...I could literally go on forever, but there's at least a mixture of instrumental/solo/choir/improv for you :D

skc formal!

More fun than I expected :D Thursday was a horribly long day though, Wind symphony in the morning and then a Jazz Soiree rehearsal after school...I was also extremely pissed at the weather because it was BEAUTIFULLY sunny all day until school ended - THUNDER AND FREAKIN LIGHTNING!!!! aaahh

So needless to say, we were really pushed for preparation time and I was really frazzled...I ate whilst Lisa showered, Claude and Megan came, I showered whilst Lisa ate, Claude went to get Keenan, us girls spent the next hour in the bathroom whilst the guys did godknowswhat...I felt so sorry for them LOL

Until THEY hogged the bathroom =____=

So anyways at 6:30 Claude's mum came to pick us up, so we all crammed into the car (I LOVE THE IN-BUILT GPS!) and she dropped us off :D Andy was EXTREMELY late so I felt really awkward being at their formal without him actually being there for half an hour....haha. The photographer lady was forcing everyone to have photos and she was SUCH a bitch =___= I had to get intro'd to the principal but Andy STILL wasn't there so some really sweet guy (I never even learnt his name?) brought me in with him as his fakedate haha

I never got a photo with him cos we took the photos at the start of the night (before I danced my makeup off....) but here's some :D

GIRLIES!

"GOD Keenan open your eyes!!"
"BUT THEY *ARE* OPEN!"
(jksjks they're not that small haha)

The thing to lean on when feet are inflicted with pain & Lisa :D

I wanna see the professional photos cos that's the only one I got with Andy, plus the group shot of the girls from our school :D and rando group shots towards the end of the night LOL

Since my date was slightly stoned (but had the most awesome white shoes!) cos he got like 2 hrs of sleep, I ditched him a lot of the night.......not in the way Steph ditched her date, and definately not the way Lisa practually disapparated away from Isaac HAHAHAHA. So since there really isn't anything else to do - WE DAAANCED :D

Except yknow how it's always the hot white kids who party it up in the middle...and the extraneous asians just hang around on the edge? Yeah...those extraneous asians started randomly JUMPING UP AND DOWN ROFLMAO but the consequences of that = people get stomped on...

How is it fair that Juliette and Sian took off their shoes all night and don't get hurt???

FML

The blueness is from a guys foot, and the red dots are from a girls heel... :( And my other foot is STILL numb from wearing the heels all night....HELPPP HOW DO I GET RID OF A SEMI-PERMANENT NUMB FOOT?

Anyways, the night finished with a stupid song to dance to - Bohemian Rhapsody?!? NICE ONE DJ =____________= sucked in a few of the SKC pimped out helium balloons before we left...got home at some stupid hour, and had to wake up again at 6:30 for choir :(

xo
ps - Annette left for the USA today :( :( :( I didn't even have the energy to cry, but mum and dad apparently bawled their eyes out...DEFINATELY GOTTA GO THERE AFTER YR 12 AND SEE HERRR!
