melb show + MACBOOK!

so min randomly decided to go to the show last week, and because she wanted to randomly meet andrew and a massive gang of asians, we went yesterday :] MEANING WE WERE ONLY GOING TO GO AS A LITTLE GROUP OF THREE PEOPLE. julia cancelled last minute, so it was only min, tamara and i. we had fun though, entry ticket was $13 (cause im 14 *cough*), i only spent money on 2 rides and 2 or 3 game things...i'm cheap like that :P i even brought my own food hahaha. didn't find the show THAAAT amusing, but it was a fun day anyhow :D

AND TODAY I GOT A MACBOOK :D :D :D! i was originally gonna pay for it myself, but turns out i didn't have enough money for a 2GB RAM and microsoft office for mac...so dad paid :P i get to pay back in my own time too, yay. so i pretty much spent all day moving crap from this laptop to my new baby :] i love all the magneticness about it (battery cord, lid, remote control) and all these random surprises i discover. i still have to install the net, but everything is SO EASY on a mac O__O didn't need any CDs to install the printer or my camera...and i dont even need to bother with the webcam, cause theres already an inbuilt one on the edge of the lid. but yeah, enough about that. i need to give it a name :] shall keep you updated.

superbad wannabes

so susan and i went to dfo today ($$$$ byebye.), bought a little miss chatterbox shirt :] trained back to melbourne central to go watch superbad, but susans underage and i couldnt get a ticket for her...so i bought hairspray tickets instead

turns out steph was nearby, so we went back, refunded them hairspray tickets and got steph to buy susans ticket

only to find out that they would probably check for ID at the ticket ripping place =__=

so we planned it all out, possibly use steph's ID and pass susan off as steph...but no, we chickened out :] susan went back and refunded for hairspray HAHA. but we got a different ticket person, thank god :P

hairspray was awesome, made me feel so happy afterwards :] john travolta ROCKS LOL. shall see superbad with legal people (sorry amanda :[)

SCHOOL'S OUT

but the thing that hit me today was that we only have 3 years of schooling left. which is yeah, exciting...but more sad than anything. school is where we've all grown up in, where we've met all our lifelong friends...it's pretty much all we've known.

not saying i'm not thankful that the holidays are around...i mean THANK GOD THEY'RE HERE *goes crazy* we should get more than 2 weeks break, seriously. but then we've got 2 more weeks of proper assessment (YESSSSSS), another week and it's house arts, another weeks and URBAN!!

SO EXCITED YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYY.

on a less exciting note, i just wanna put this out there:

everybody is important, special and unique. don't ever let yourself think that nobody cares about you; or that nobody thinks you're worth anything. because i think you'll find that there are many more people who love you than you'd expect. we all have our low point in life, but the important part is finding your way back up again. never lose hope.

well, i thought i'd add my journal from when i travelled to europe and asia, in case i lose it on my laptop...some precious memories in there :] hardly any of the times make sense though, ifnore them :P obviously i couldn't remember what time i wrote them up, but they would've been around 9-12pm ahhaha

not much to say, i got my subject selections back! i have EVERYTHING i want, except viscomm design brief instead of viscomm design skills, but no drama, i'm really happy with it :] and our new lunchtime cardgameness is cheat, with uno cards :D hahaha

susans baaaack!! oh and also...

my abs don't hurt anymore :] sam and i did 50 sit ups in PE and i died the next day...seriously, don't do that ladies if you're unfit like me...unless you dont wanna have children =/ but i slept on them funny on friday so i woke up saturday and felt really bruised all over. which meant me having issues all day. got told to "sit like a girl" in chinese school <_< JUST CAUSE I CAN'T SIT STRAIGHT......and wear girl clothing. they're in the washhh. or at least, that's the excuse i'm giving :] ahhaha. so yeah, we rehearsed them plays that we have to perform next month, laughed at the people who had to wear the asian clothes...then laughed at myself because the teacher was gonna make ME wear them too <_< then argued for a bit and got my way. WHAT KIND OF MOTHER WEARS TRADITIONAL CHINESE DRESSES, HEELS AND EARRINGS WHILE COOKING?! O__o i'll probably find a dress or something, just to keep her happy <_<

so in the afteroon i got bored and ran to susans place (DIDN'T DIE!! YEAAH.), waited for her to finished her stuff while i sprawled across her bed doing...nothing. but that was fun all the same, at least it stretched them abs. when she was done with her crap, we walked to blockbuster and got some dvd's, spent the rest of the night watching "the illusionist" (TOP MOVIE, GO WATCH IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY :D) and some of "the perfect stranger" ...the latter one was strange, we got bored of it. i finished it off today and its really unpredictable O__O takes ages to actually get the plot going, but hey :] OHHHH and i watched "i am sam" ...HOLY COW ITS SO FREAKING SAD. I SWEAR TO GOD I HAD THIS PILE OF TISSUES NEXT TO ME WHEN I WAS DONE :'''[ beaaautiful storyline, amazing acting, soundtrack, cinematography...why the hell hadn't i found this movie earlier? wish i had someone to cry with though. tried starting "the sisterhood of the travelling pants" that we borrowed for the other kids but it wasn't that interesting =/ i think i'm starting to grow out of those kinda movies.

REALLY REALLY WANNA WATCH HAIRSPRAY AND DECEMBER BOYS!!!! GAHH. dan radcliffe and nikki&zac were hilarious on rove last week ahahha. comparing leg hair and socks and all that :P $20 in 20 rocks, can't wait for delta on tonights ep hahaha. and speaking of tv, chasers war on everything is the best ever :] i love it how they go ahead and get 2 guys to arrest julian while chas as bin laden is just wandering around aimlessly behind them hahaha.

ONE WEEK LEFT OF TERM THANK GODD!!!! minus 1 day on excursion to pixar animation studio and minus the bludge day of sex ed, assembly, double PE and jap or something like that...PE post fitness test though, i reckon i've improved for sure, i remember dying after running half a lap of our park and now i'm perfectly fine :] running on concrete really hurts my ankles though, grarh.

friday, geography excursion to cape schank, balnarring beach and somer's yacht club. wayyy better than toolangi, had a fun bus trip up with kiki and juls doing them classic min questions :] cape schank was pretty cool, fair bit of exercise going up and down the stairs to the seaside...bit of field sketching and stuff :] balnarring beach was sooo relaxing, we sat down for lunch and annoyed the seagulls...the weather was soo good HURRY THE HELL UP SUMMER TIME O__O!! somers yacht club was meh, i can't remember much. by now i was pretty damn tired :P had a sleepy bus trip back and that's pretty much it :]

yesterday i FINALLY got to watch the simpsons movie O__o after chinese school, viv and i went to grab sushi, get kiki from the train station and then we checked out the photoplus in glenny :] its heaps big, probably 4 or 5 times the size of the one in the city but the same number of booths. tonnes of costumes too :D we got amanda to come along, met up with juls and watched the movie. SPIDER PIG...SPIDER PIG :D :D la la la ahhahahah

bummed around in the glen afterwards, then went home :] might go for a bike ride soon, im pretty bored. really should do some notes for the english CAT tomorrow GAHHH ><

SO FRICKEN PISSED

OKAY so i've been at the 40hr famine for almost 30 hours and NOT A SINGLE WORD (minus the accidental sound that came out as NOOO)...BUT NO PROPER WORDS!!!

AND THE CHINESE SCHOOL TEACHER THOUGHT I WAS STUPID!! THOSE ARE THE EXACT WORDS "sophie you're a smart person, why are you doing such a stupid thing?" THE HARD PART WAS RESISTING THE URGE TO GIVE HER THE "^%$#!" SIGN!!!

i was trying to explain that the point was to go for 40 hours without something you love/need. so obviously i picked talking :] and i was trying to explain, my point of doing it is to

1) understand how it feels to be disabled in one way or another and not have enough money for support

2) raise money for laos!!?!!!

3) CHALLENGE MYSELF
4) test my patience. and boy has my patience been tested ><

i feel like i'm 3/4 into a marathon and i've been told to go back because i'm an idiot. i don't get how some people can be so selfish like that, i was actually having a lot of fun (despite having my talkingbook stolen for a bit) until she ruined it for me. SERIOUSLY. HOW CAN SOME PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND, OR EVEN TRY TO UNDERSTAND.
