fricken heat.

well this morning was bloody hot and somehow i decided i wanted to go play badminton with susan ahahhaha. it was heaps fun though, us douches playing sarah, surae and tim rolling on the floor doing what tim does best...whatever that is O__o michael said he wasnt good at badminton....go to hell mate. if he teamed up with susans dad, we'd all die. heck, i nearly died a few times. but all good fun :D don't eat chocolate cake in the morning though, i wasnt making sense (again) for an hour and something. i was juggling shuttlecocks and i could hardly play basketball (my excuse). i was sweating like a little shit, the bottom of my ponytail was crunchy from soaking in the sweat on my back, and my bra looked like someon dipped it in water. ahahahahha...cause you had to know O___o

uhm and now my hands stink like onions cause i chopped them for dinner....they still smell =__= jesus

farm/beach/etc WOO

so much damn fun. for once we were almost outnumbered by boys LOL. almost. susan took me with her & extended asian related/nonrelated family to peter smith's (the channel 9 voiceover man...not sure how we even know him haha) farm and we had a bbq lunch there. the kids there included us, surae, isabel (WHO PLAYED WITH SOMEONE ELSE FOR A CHANGE) michael, tim, daniel, norton and fonda. we toured the place, met an alpaca, some horses, several dogs, a bluetongue lizard, hungry goats and fake crocs. walking through the place was liek some kinda luxury hike, we kept on flinging ferns into each other as we walked :D we saw the oldest tree in the world, land untouched by europeans and an earthquake fault that goes to cape schanck. after lunch we attempted to learn how to play 500 but by the time michael finished teaching us we were leaving for the beach ahahha.

it was around 3 and we went to rye beach (the one near my new beachhouse :D) which is the weirdest beach i've ever seen. the actual beach is really really narrow, and theres no waves in the ocean at all. after 10 minutes of looking for a bloody TOILET (busting) we finally got to the beach. then decided to actually get into our bathers, so we had to get back to the toilet and change. i forced susan to swim in my bikini top and her shorts ahahha. surae went in fully clothed but she had board shorts. at times like that i bet they wish they were the boys...just strip off and wear your boardies. i actually brought my swimsuit so i had no problems :D but at the top of the swimsuit it ties up, and the *bow* sorta hangs down right? i couldnt be bothered tying it into a bow so its just hanging there....AND NOW I HAVE THIS TAN LINE ON MY BACK FROM IT HAHAHA. we weren't out in the sun long and i had sunscreen on my face, but somehow managed to get my face burnt and nowhere else O__o the beach was strange, we swim out really far and the water still only comes up to your crotch. after swimming and splashing, we skipped shells and decided to airdry. the 5 of us (daniel left) were standing in a circle freezing our butts off. once the water dried off we were warm, but some idiot (tim or surae) started splashing by accident which caused a lot of angry cold people :] after rye, we drove back to box hill to have dinner at kim chi. susan had a tummy ache, i was nutty and didnt eat much. tim had issues pouring water and it ended up all over the table and somehow on my bag on the floor. michael talked about methods next year....sounds like im prettttyy much screwed =__= and i cant remember much else, since i was a bit retarded. the tea tasted burnt! and i think tomorrow we're gonna go play badminton some place :D

xmas & boxing day sales

hope you all had an awesome christmas! what did i do? err, cook lunch (more like chop things and follow mums instructions) and weed the garden. yay? lmfao, weeding was quite fun though...something satisfying about that. i was hella itchy afterwards though =\ we had dinner with mr chen & annette's fam, they came over and they had crabs they brought from china...ugh. annette and i had a lot of fun playing on tamagotchi & tamatown (she left the tamagotchi here). we played neopets and watched tom and jerry on youtube hahahahah!

uhhm, so today mum got me up at 6am to go to the boxing day sales with lisa. bloody hell. i havent woken up that early all year (not counting sydney & murrary river trains) and all that just for shopping?!??!?! we're insane. MUM'S insane. she bought 12 towels, a kettle & a bag. the 12 towels took up 2 huge santasack plastic bags. i bought a new camera and i paid for her bag since i never got her an xmas pressie. i heart my new camera <3 lisa and i were pretty dead afterwards and i really need to sleep =__= going to beach tomorrow!!

so i worked for dad on saturday which was really tiring...9 hours sitting on my ass and not doing much was painful and boring. worked today as well on xmas eve which was better since there were people in the office :]

wish i could come up with more creative titles

okay, so susan and i were in the car for around 2 hours, annoyed by the GPS all the way. goddamn that thing =__= we talked for a bit, listened to each others ipods and then jsut zoned out for the rest of the trip...the weather was pouring rain and i was pretty depressed; who wants rain when you can spend the weekend at the beach?? gahh. but when we got to lorne, the rain cleared up :] filled out the forms at mantra erskine beach resort, had fish & chips for lunch and checked in at around 2. we didn't do anything on the first day, we painted our nails and messed around with makeup (we're girls, gosh). dad was having a company dinner that night so we got dressed up and ready (which took us ages, ahahhaha *angelface*). what sucked was that it was cold so our outfits were *ruined* by our jackets/jumpers. susan had a nice jumper, but uhh, i had my hoodie :P so yeah. i looked unco, with blue nails, green dress, rainbow shoes and a big white hoodie with a penguin on it...LOL. dinner was YUUUM, i had calamari for entree and a steak with vegies for dinner. i was so effing full of food but i still ate dessert...chocolate mousse xD the guys & girl from erwin were on their way to being very drunk :] tony and brooke, the little kids, were being amused by steven, and david ordered dad a tequila. ROFL. dad drank like, half a centermetre. wuss. i was so full that i was gonna throw up, and i couldn't sleep either. susan and i slept at around midnight, and we were trying to understand some movie about bounty hunters...confusing stuff :]

the 2nd day was the best, we woke up at 9 (susan swore at me for a few minutes cause i/the alarm/mum woke us) and had brekky at the bakery *drool* i had some thing that looked like a ninja star with blueberry jam on it :] and susan had a massive boston bun that she didnt finish haha. we watched cartoon network til 11 (we love foxtel & cartoon network!) and played tennis for an hour and a bit...i was so effing tired, i had hardly any breaks. and it was so unfair, it was always 2 against 1. and i was always the 1 =___= my right leg is so sore, from being a ball girl hahahhaha. by the time i was tired enough playing my mother and little tony, steven came along and killed me with 1 hit of the ball. so i gave up and me and susan amused ourselves with flat tennis balls. after tennis, we had a bbq lunch (hardly ate a thing, i wasnt hungry at all) and we splashed at the beach. at 3, we decided SCREW SPLASHING and we went to get our swimsuits. we got our nice little spot away from the main beach, and played in the waves properly. with sand and everything :D then we fried on the beach for 40 minutes or so (sunscreen rocks). i have a slight tan line, and susan is actually burnt fmor playing tennis in the morning, and not the beach. after the beach, we cartoon networked til dinner (i was so hungry) and went to lorne hotel/cafe/pub for dinner. i had lamb kofta, which was like little balls of lamb and some wrapbreadstuff with chickpeas and random veggies. it was sooo yum xD i believe after that, we cartoon networked again....til 8, then we went to the pool and spa for around an hour and just chilled out...then we hopped into the steam room and got totally fried in there. it was so hard to breathe, but our skin came out all nice. mine did anyway. and im blackheadless! woot. showered, watched random movies (not cartoon network!) and slept at 11ish.

and today, we left lorne :[ we were planning on going on the trampolines, but it was only open on the weekends (DAMN) so we splashed at the beach for an hour and then pretty much went home. kfc for lunch (dad looked so excited, he never eats junk food hahahah) and here i am :] im so tired and my muscles are sore. gonna sleep early tonight and sleep in tomorrow. WOO

diploma & dust

so graduation on monday was fun and boring at the same time. loved the batman costume and the purple thing, thank god we got there earlier than 4...the queue for the photo-taking was massive, we were only 3rd in line and we had to wait half an hour to get the shots done (they're so dorky). then we went outside to do smoe (hopefully) less dorky shots, even though they came out as if i was going to a costume party...waited around til around 5:30 when i had to go in and sit down and be told what to do...the whole ceremony went for around an hour and i didn't fall on my face :D people i knew were mell from school (had no idea she did her amus), lily who used to learn from jacky, erika's bro and steph of course :] most of the people were asian rofl. 2 guys performed, one guy looked like he was 10 or something O__o freakishly good piano players, graaah. some really good conductor or something made a really long speech which was a load of waffle to me :] no offence, but i was really tired after a few hundred names were read out...after the ceremony i had some more photos with steph, then had to return the gown/batman costume. i tucked my diploma under my arm and attempted to unpin the stole that mum twisted right into my dress. the safety pin came out as a STRAIGHT LINE. and dad was begging me to hurry the hell up. so once i untangled the damned pin, i realised the diploma wasn't under my arm any more O___________O and wasted 10 minutes asking randoms and looking for it. i gave up and went back to the gown returning line, where i found the certificate sitting on the table. someone found it before i could even LOOK for it =___= oh well, all happy. and the night finished with a REALLY GOOD DINNER <3333

and yesterday i cleaned my wardrobe. nuff said. the formal outfits are in colour order and the rest are seperated into winter and summer. i still have to tidy out my jeans/shorts/trackies/towels/etc but IVE HAD ENOUGH. i upset SO much dust yesterday and i couldnt stop sneezing and hayfevering. im still not over it today, my eyes are burning and i keep needing to blow my nose =___= hayfever tablets dont seem to be working, but the eyedrops are doing okay.

we wanted to exchange this ralph lauren polo someone gave us in chaddy, but it was old stock and blahblahblah so they told us to go to dfo in essendon. perfect excuse to make dad drive us there :P the stupid gps almost told us to go the wrong way, but hey we made it. ralph lauren was right in front of the entrace and we told the lady we wanted an exchange for a bigger size and it took her 5 minutes of saying "no" til she's like "...the only thing we can do is exchange for a larger size".

stupid =__= that's what we were asking for in the first place woman!! anyways, so i got a bigger and different styled polo :P its mvps coloured lmfao! and cause it didn't reach the right amount, we grabbed some socks too :D hahaha

after that, we spent most of the time looking for a bag for mum, and we never found anything. we even went to southern cross/spencer st dfo and found nothing, except for school shoes (i have to wear bricks next year) and more clothes for me :D woop

uhhm, and graduation is today AAAHH. or, conferring of diplomas. whatever it's called =/ gotta leave at around 3, which is pretty soon actually. i swear to god, everyone should give me $1 if i don't trip up and down the stairs.

i'm a little special see...today steph, susan and i went shopping on bridge rd to buy things for each other for xmas. susan got jelly shoes, blush, eyelash curler and dove tanning stuff. steph gottt blush, red bag and bronzer. and i got a mimco wallet and an eyelash curler :D once we passed subway, i had no patience for ANY shopping til i got my subway (2 hours later). after bridge rd, we trammed back t camberwell junction and all i wanted was gloria jeans (i was also broke) so i found an atm and got to gloria jeans...which was closed =__= i drew out $20 for no reason...after tasting stephs boost, that was all i wanted. my brain was going BOOST BOOST BOOST til i finally got that. then i was addicted to the idea of tramming home =/ which i eventually did and here i am, addicted to salt and vinegar chips and yakult...

the funny thing is, i wasnt hungry for subway, or boost or anything...i didnt really want it =/ i just wanted the taste of it.

piano concert & etc

so back to normal now, had the annual concert 2 days after i got back from sydney =__= i cant believe my teacher expected me to still do a solo, plus i wasn't really bothered practicing :P but yeah, all went well on the night anyway :] the little kids are so adorable, its kinda hard to believe i used to be so small and noob, but so proud to be playing twinkle twinkle little star or whatever. we were high after the concert, especially megan who wanted to play gang up tiggy. yao thought it would be fun to play "find megan a boyfriend" lmao. poor kevin, who probably thinks megan likes him now........LOL

anyways, so that's over and proper school started on monday. we did reflecting (which was stupid, cause the OEG site logged me out randomly and i lost my entire post reflection) for most of the day and organised who was going to do what on presentation night. tuesday was working on our presentations (which i will upload soon to show the world :P). my macbook was running out of battery (i thought we were ending at 1:30 so i didn't bring my charger) and i called mum to bring my charger. she was confused and i told her to bring the 2 white ones. she stupidly brought both of my identical ipod chargers =___= so i sent her back to get the macbook one lmfao. poor mum. thanks :D then we spent ages converting and burning it to a dvd. i guess it was all worth it in the end, presentation night was great :] the trekkers made their journey sound so exciting, but i guess we all know we had an amazing time on urban. we just suck at making exciting things sound more exciting :]

and today was our last day. SO MANY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING!! vic, jae, jess & em, danae, alex, simone, anneliese, liv and thea (i think). damn. i'll miss them all so much, even though i guess i was only close to jae and vic :( :( :(

so now its holidays and i'll be bumming around a lot. ohyeah, i'm still really pissed about monday, i was meant to go to luna park with min and kiki but mum called right when we were leaving and was like DONT GO ITS POURING. so i went home, and it DIDN'T RAIN AT ALL FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. and i was free on tuesday and they went somewhere AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOTU IT. and they were going to chaddy after school today and I CAN'T GOT CAUSE OF PIANO. thankfully i can probably go iceskating next week cause i wont be at lorne on the same day. jesus freaking christ =__=

urban week 5 - sydney!

delayed blog, but here we go...

5 weeks went by way too quickly...wish we could do it all over again...or at least extend the sydney trip. or go on trek. or something :P anything but classroomness

so *backtracks* we boarded a train to sydney from southern cross...which was delayed 40 minutes, meaning we sat around using up our train entertainment before we were on the actual train. the trip took 10 and a half hours, and needless to say...we got bored really quickly. memories of brooke putting a smelly shoe in our faces i shall remember forever :P when we got to sydney, it was stinking hot but we still had a shortish walk to our backpackers hostel. we mustve been living near chinatown, because there was a shocking amount of asians there xD hahahaha, min was happy about that...we got to our "home", some showered and we hit the bed at 11pm. Most of us pulled down our mattresses and slept on the floor, i woke up with one buttcheek on each of erika's knees :D

the next morning it was pretty crap weather, so we spent around 3 hours in QVB doing a bit of shopping and looking around. i bought a shirt for $6 which i've seen in tbar for $40 LOL. and 2 tank tops, one black and one white...$3 each, so i cut holes in the black one and wore it over the white :] it's SKINTIGHT and its size 16 O___o i tried on a 10 and 12 and i couldn't get my head through LOL. anyways, so after QVB we walked to the aquarium to check out the fishes :] we named a seal jeffry (he swam in the same circle for 15 minutes) and some sharks bruce (nemo!), margaret, antonio and mrs bruce :P then we got high off 30cm dory's... silly viv. after the aquarium, we ferried to the opera house where i bumped into my mum and dad hahaha. the opera house is beautiful, but the interior is nowhere near as nice as the melbourne arts centre (yet). that pretty much ended day 2, the weather was too bad to do anything really =/

day 3 was heaps fun, the weather was awesome and we went to Taronga Zoo! again, we took a ferry (its like the sydney version of trams :P) and then a cable car to the top. had a look at koalas, nocturnal animals, birds, tassie devils, bears, peacocks, orangatangs, gorillas, elephants and thats pretty much all i can remember O__o we watched the bird show though, which was AMAZING <3 got back to the ferry pier a tad late, but min and amanda almost made us miss the 1pm ferry =___= we got back to the harbour and group B went to the jet boat ride while group A (us) had an hour or so free time. we checked out wildlife world, which was better than the aquarium and zoo...more interactice and butterflies :P at 3:30, we switched and had our go on the jet boat, which was SO FUN. basically you get into a poncho (i didn't), hop into this crazy boat and go for spins and turns and get completely drenched. we dried out on the boardwalk afterwards, leaving boob and bum prints on the wood :D once we got home and had a chance to properly shower, we went on the monorail at night time (i missed the chasers, but the hotel didn't have ABC anyway)...we had more fun singing and listening to brooke sing about teachers *cough* instead of actually looking at the views :P i think day 3 was the night when brooke broke the top bunk bed as well, which (along with their room wanting to stay up all night) got our thursday free time taken away and had the teachers make us clean our rooms...

so yeah, day 4 was cleaning our room a bit, which was fine and didn't ruin my day :P day 4 was my personal favourite, we climbed the pylon of the harbour bridge!!! 200 steps, not that hard at all...the harder part was the walkway TO the pylon, hahah. the weather was really hot and sam and I realised the walkway was where the chasers were for a sketch so we took a photo :P the views from the top of the pylon was amazing, you could even see john howards house (or kevin rudds or whatever...) after the climb, we ferried to manly and stayed at the beach til around 4, which was AWESOME. i got a bit burnt but i'm all good now :] i have terrible tan lines now...theres a triangle from my urban shirt, a longer triangle from my swimsuit, a curve from my tank top, 2 lines on each shoulder from the tank top and...A RANDOM LINE FROM CARRYING MY BAG HAHA. its pretty weird :] after manly, we earned our free time back and we met with ding and his mates for karaoke :D :D :D we tried pranking them but it screwed up, partly my fault and partly mins fault....i don't even know what the prank was actually =/ but yeah. so we went to karaoke and completely sung my voice out, it was hella fun. i've lost my voice now, but cmon, totally worth it *BECAUSE OF YOUUUUUUUU* dinner time came around and we went through trouble to get permission for ding to come, but meh. the bad part was sam being bullied about it from a teacher afterwards LOL *so where's your friend :] ......what friend O__o shes my friend?* centrepoint tower finished off the day and week and we went to bed at the usual time

final day was jsut a pack up, we got disturbed in the morning by a random lady who i thought was brooke pranking us. she was from perth and was asking for a bed to hop into, and we're all like WHAT THE HELL etcetc. luckily she woke us, it was 5 minutes til breakfast :] and we got the room sorted and all was good. we left for the airport soon after and after a REALLY short hourlong trip, we arrived in melbourne.

urban week 4

this week was pretty meh...nothing really sticks out as much as other weeks O__o

err, day 1 was...lawn bowls and golf :] OMG the night before, erika got a new number and texted me, then someone else texted me saying that i start at lawn bowls tomorrow...i assumed both of the new numbers were erika but NOOOO =__= i HAD to respond to one of them saying that i was "effing itchy" (censored version) =____________= i hardly swear, especially in texts...unless i really mean it...and i HAD TO SEND IT TO THE TEACHER. gahh. oh well, its pretty funny now :] anyways, lawn bowls. yesss. amanda and i won the tournament and we get some prize on presentation night :D :D the kid who was helping out at the lawn bowls place was what, 14 (he looked 10) and seemed like such a wannaberebel from what i heard :P mate, you cant be a rebel if you're a lawn bowls champ, seriously :P the weather was WAYY hot, and by the time we went to play golf, i guess we were all dead. Including the bird that ms scott hit with a golf ball. ahahah. RIP birdy <3 towards the end, only a few of us were still into it :P i was juggling golf balls and trying to live up to dads expectations. the latter one didnt work out :]

day 2 was LOTE day, we listed the countries we're from and languages we speak at home and then took off for a book store to tick of the books we could find with those nationalities in them. which took about 10 minutes. hahahaha. then we browsed some cute jap stores <3 which i love, and then the most random of all O__o we went to the food section in david jones and the grocery store on victoria st to compare prices. how is that lote related? just cause victoria st is asian =__= ahahha. then we ate lunch at a viet restaurant...which is basically eating what we eat at home =__=

day 3 was theatre day and we all got dressed up for it :P we toured the arts centre (WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL) and watched The Madwoman of Chaillot starring Magda Szubanski. most people were bored by the play, but i really liked it :] had to concentrate to understand it, but its basically about these guys who wanna dig up paris for oil, and the "madwoman" and her friends put up a fight and eventually err...shun all the bad people in a hole under her house LOL. the best part of the play was when magda was feeling sick and had to go offstage randomly (okay, so thats not the best part) and had to leave the cast improvising (THATS the best part)...they're all like "OHHH she thinks she can do whatever she wants just cause shes been on TV" and "IM SUING MY CONTRACTOR" blahblha hahahahah. thats entertainment ;] after the show some of us wanted autographs and stuck around at the stage door, but i left cause nothing was happening...and we missed 4 of the actors cause we couldnt recognise them without makeup and costume =___=

day 4 was random, all we did was listen to a guy talk about homelessness (which made me feel guilty for having a home) and do a self guided heritage walk of melbourne O__o didn't like that day much...can't really remember what happened :P

the final day of the melbourne part of urban was going to the australian electorate commission (CAUSE TODAY IS VOTIN DAY...EVERYONE SHOULD VOTE FOR JOHN HOWARD :D :D) and do the same thing as we did in year 6...then we made our way to como house and toured that place. it was AMAZING. the house looked pretty big, but you assumed it was smaller when you actually went in. then you realise theres upstairs, downstairs, around the house, balcony etcetc. the scariest part was when the phone in one room suddenly started ringing (i think i activated the sensor =__=) and the music that was playing in another room...as if the house wasnt haunted looking enough :P ooh and i had a shot at the ancient piano that was in one room...i thought i was gonna break it =__= the stuff in the house is worth millions, stuffed birds and all. after the tour, we played croquet!! ahahahha, its such a cool game..pretty hard at first too :P aand after we were dismissed, we went with sam to get her volleys :] and viv w likes to touch my ass.

urban week 3

OH MY GOD.

camp was so. much. fun. SERIOUSLY! IT WAS EVEN WORTH MY 68 MOZZIE BITES :D

okay so we trained to benalla, bussed to yarrawonga and got into our groups. i was in the massive fob group + brooke and julia, and our leaders were neil and tracey :] aand our teacher was ms balston :D once we repacked our packs and all that, we hit the canoes and paddled 7 or 8kms to our first camping spot...took us around 2 and a half hours (we sucked that day haha) and i partnered with erika and irene (cause jae felt sick and swapped partners). we set up camp and had a pretty crap first night, cause we got there a bit late, i had a gigantuan blood nose and my arms were killing and all that. but it was good fun :D

day 2 was our tough day (blood nose again), we decided to paddle the hard yard on day 2 rather than day 4, so it was 25kms that day =___= i partnered with sam, attempted steering and nearly died, so we switched places :] we got to camp a bit earlier than the previous day (we werent cleaning til it was pitch black) and played a bit of footy in the water, and buried erika in the sand :P i was dead by night time, we played some uno and slept :]

DAY 3 WAS THE BEST!!! we decided to get up early and skip breakfast so we could beat the heat, but that plan backfired a bit. we got on the water half an hour later than we wanted (canoed with julia this time), but either way it worked out well. the flies were insane, but we got to camp at lunch time and chilled out for the rest of the day. sam and i had woman issues :P but we uhm, found our way around that (ROFL) and WENT FOR A SWIM :D :D :D we went blobbing in the water (RIML RIML), played more footy and then we had to go onto land and do some group games. one game was to silently and blindly organise the whole group into height order (we did pretty good, except jae was in the short end for some reason), one game called knights, princes and cavaliers (viv and sam won) and the last game where we had to have a skipping rope moving constantly and a person in the rope all the time :] hard to explain, but we had erika/viv (and a bit of leah and me) skipping in the rope all the time, while people ran through. we got there in about 40 minutes HAHA. and we played bang :D finally. haha, and erika won that most of the time :P then at night we did a tribal gathering and got told the story of redbeard and his eyepatch. you're meant to cover your left eye through the story, then at the end, turn into the darkness and switch eye, the switch back...but it didnt work, everything just went blurry for me :P we had 5 minutes silent time staring at the stars (there are so many satellites moving around all the time) and then we decided that it was the perfect night for sleeping out. sam, brooke, leah, erika, juls, amanda and i decided to get out our mats and the tarp and camp out, but sam and brooke moved back into the tent cause of the bugs :P aside from the bugs i slept the best that night, except i woke up in the morning with 40+ mozzie bites, mostly on my ankle =_____= it was actually worth it though :]

day 4 was pretty easy too, i paddled with viv (i thought we teamed pretty good :]) and she makes the boat rock every time she paddles cause shes short. LOL. we got to camp at a decent time AND THIS CAMPSITE HAD A DROP TOILET. so i got to do a shit :] and it was the best drop toilet ever, bugless and smelt like nothing. we played a singing game where we got into 2 teams and got given a word and had to take it in turns to sing a part of a song with that word in it. our team (SKIN PROBLEMS!) lost 5 to 4 (to TEAM SEXY TEAM lmfao) but it was heaps fun anyway :D we played a canoe game...kinda. all we had to do was cram everyone onto 1 canoe (some people didnt join in, so we got like 11 people on) then we flipped it over and tried to jump on top. juls and i (and i think brooke) went under it too, where the air bubble is on top of the water :D that was weird, ahhaa. then sam, erika, juls, brooke and i went blobbing for the final time :[ we seriously could blob to cobram, haha. then at night, we had 30 minute reflection time, where i gathered my mozzie bite count to 68 :] dropped off to sleep for the final time at camp :[

next day we had to clean EVERYTHING and hopefully beat the other groups!!!! (we were in the lead)...but as we were about to hit the water, they rafted by >=[ it was only 2 or 3 kms to go, and erika and lisa stole our canoe, so we took the one next to it, but got kicked out cause it was the teachers canoe =___= so we got kicked allllll the way to the end where all the spikey plants were. so we were pissed. but anyway, we got to cobram in like, less than half an hour, cleaned out the canoes (ROCL ROCL), unloaded the group gear and borrowed gear and ate our final lunch :[ had a group photo, goodbyed and thanked neil and tracey and boarded the 4hr bus trip back home :D which was really sad, but happy at the same time :]

as soon as we arrived, i made mum go to the pharmacy to get cream and dettol for my mozzie bites, which are currently really swollen. i think im allergic =/ my ankles feel bruised, i have like 20 on my left ankle and random rashes from sunscreen or something =___= thats the only thing i can really complain about, but like i said it was really worth it :D i personally feel sorry for min and vic who didnt come, but min obviously doenst give a shit that she missed out on so much (SUCKS TO BE HER...ROFL!!) next week is golf/lawn bowls, community service, LOTE day, arts centre and suburb day i believe :D

urban week 2

urban's almost half gone :[ week 2 was only 3 days long, which is completely stupid. we shouldn't get weekends and public holidays off...its unfair to the girls on trek <__< and i wanna be doing something every day anyway

its an excuse to not practice piano and go to chinese school :] stupid viv went today and i didn't know... they watched "i not stupid too" which is okay with me *youtube*

So day 5 of Urban was the City, Summit, Surf thing :D plus, it was 7/11 day...FREE SLURPEES. yeah anyway :] it was so much fun, I was in a group with Emma, Chelsea, Julia and Leah. We took a Lilydale train to Croydon first, and caught a bus up to Skyhigh Cafe on Mt Dandenong. The other group missed it by a tiny bit, we watched them running after us LOL. Felt happy and sorry for them :] mwahahaha. There was this guy in the bus who saw us with our massive Melway and thought he'd help out a bit...which was cool, and great help :] but then he just...sat next to us =/ and started to get creepy. Thank god he was gone before we arrived :P had to trek up a small mountain before we actually got to Skyhigh...AN HOUR+ EARLY...THE TEACHERS WEREN'T EVEN THERE LMAO. We called them but I think we were calling the wrong number for 15 minutes, cause when we finally got through to the number, some random picked up. All the groups finally rolled in (and the teachers :P) but the group that we beat came JUST in time. I had a smartie push pop :D yummo. glued the thing in my journal (looks like a toilet roll), plus part of the 7/11 slurpee cup :P after the first stop checkpoint, we took a bus down to Belgrave station and got on a train (lottsa video taking here :P) and waited ages for it to leave...then we spent a fricken hour and something on the train til we actually got to Fliders =__= the other group were on the same train so we got off the train and sprinted to the tram stop thinking that we had lost them....but no. ahahhah, so now, it was a matter of who could run to the teachers fastest. We were lucky, as soon as we got off the tram at St Kilda, we spotted the teachers, and the other group misread the instructions and went running for Luna Park. SO WE WON......except, i hope our points don't get marked down cause we forgot to call the teachers to check in =/ anyways, Erika (from the other group) and I walked around St Kilda (cause we were friends again :P), I got another free slurpee (the customer thought I was robbing 7/11) and we walked to the beach :] sat there for a bit til Min and Amanda (who came last ROFL) joined us...to build a sandcastle and a waterless moat (LOL). Had a whole lotta fun, and went home :D

Day 6 and 7 were both at William Angliss Institute TAFE...some TAFE that teaches hospitality, cooking, tourism and business management. Min missed the train she was meant to catch with me, then missed the one after that...she rolled up 40 minutes late cause obviously she'd get lost :P it was a bit confusing, but really, you just had to take a tram to latrobe st (i ran there instead lmao) and a tram down latrobe st just past flagstaff station. Day 6 was making pizza! Walked to Queen Victoria Market to buy fruit and vegies (we each got given $5)...we didn't know we had to buy the cheese and meat as well, so we had $3.50 left for that LOL. Turned out it was supplied anyway...but we got back to the place, got dressed in out chefness outfits and started making our dough...took forever, and it was sticky as hell but i got there :D while we waited for the dough to rise, we cut up our toppings and fruits. I can officially cut kiwis, mmhm. so then we got our very rised up dough and spread it onto a tray, BIGGEST PIZZA EVERRR. It was like...bigger than an A3 piece of paper and had SO MUCH CHEESE...i think we went through about 2kg of cheese that day :P i had hardly any time to eat the pizza, i went straight to the bread making (fun shapes, yayay) and then by the time i got that done, we had to clean up O__o burned myself on the pizza tray, cause i forgot the other hand had no teatowel and went to grab the tray cause my hand was getting hot :P yet another excuse to get outta piano

day 7 was awesome, we made chocolate!!! we watched some random video about cocoa beans, tasted cocoa liquor (BLEUAHGHAULSDJKHG) and cocoa butter (*DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLS*) and i ate a cocoa bean :] tasted like shit as well. buut onto the chocolate making. all we had to do was take the warm chocolate and pour it onto the marble and move it around til it cooled a bit.....and obviously i ate a lot in that process :] then we put the cooled chocolate back in with the warm chocolate til it reaches about 32 degrees, then pour them out into moulds. whatever chocolate was left, i ate :P the chocolateman made some hollow chickens, clowns and bears by using this funny looking magnetic machine that looks like a theme park ride for chocolate moulds. i got a chicken :D and took a lot of chocolate shreds and pieces home....yep :D had a barbeque lunch that day, watched scoobydoo! and played ping pong :] end of week.

aaand we go on camp tomorrow to the murray river :D!!!! gotta get to southern cross at fricken 7:40am, and I still need to finish packing my clothes. the rest is all done, in ziplock bags :P my toilet paper looks hilarious. pissed off that i have my period on camp again, but i stocked up on tampons for surfing and didn't need them :] so i think im all good to go xD!! see you in a week!!!!

urban week 1

i'm keeping an actual journal for urban, so i havent really been updating here. so a bit of a recap...day 1 was "arcades, lanes and cafes". we got into groups of 3 (erika, min and i) and a few pages of clues for our challenge. the clues were written in a poem form, so we gotta figure it out and go places :D at first we almost took a tram to port phillip bay, but it turns out it meant port phillip arcade. figures, since the activity was called ARCADES, lanes and cafes *duh* =__= theres so many cool shops and cafes i had never known about, so after doing the challenge, im totally coming back one day :D our group were really organised and i'm pretty sure we finished first. teachers gave us bonus points for working well ;D yaay.

day 2 was going to edmund rice centre and tutoring/playing with refugees. SO much fun, i worked with a vietnamese girl called Hong, and we did a bit of reading and writing before going outside and playing ball games and duck duck goose with the rest of the kids. after the experience, we all wanted to get a real message out there...i mean, the media and stuff always make their stories on refugees sound so negative (especially african). the kids are already feeling touchy and unloved, and for anyone to go there, give them a hug and make them smile...it's priceless. when we left, a boy and a girl and their baby brother wandered in because their father had died and their mother abandoned them. if this was anyone else, it'd be all over the news begging for sympathy stories (remember pumpkin?). they put on a brave face and we all had a good time regardless. its cute how trusting they are, although they hardly know you, they realise you're a good person and just jump on you for a piggy back :P we taught them handclapping games and at the end of they day, one girl didnt want to leave haha. we all donated pencils and stationery (which they desperatly needed) and some of us just pulled things out of our pencil cases and put them in a pile. definatly gonna write a letter to the papers or the principal about the experience soon.

day 3...i was sick. haha, on the night of edmund rice centre (and after watching the SKC & our school play of romeo and juliet) i started feeling a bit sick, i thought it was from the dust or something, but no. in the middle of the night i chucked up all the sushi i ate for dinner =/ wasnt pretty at all, i felt like shit. the next morning i woke up and...slept for the rest of the day. didn't eat at all, had a bit of soup but didn't really want to. i was determind to be well for day 4.......surfing!!! (apparently day 3, which was visiting melbourne uni and a cemetary, absolutely sucked. so i didn't miss much :P)

DAY 4!! SURFING!! i was extreeemely weak, but i HAD to go. the whole point of me picking the urban adventure was cause of surfing LOL. rocked up at some surfing museum (waste of time) and then to some beach at torquay. got a lowdown on how to surf and hit the waves!! ohh so much fun, the first time i stood up i got so excited i jumped off the board :P after a lot of wave catching, Sam and I got creative and joined our boards. with my butt on my board, her butt on her board, but our legs on each others boards (you following me :P?) we were absolutely determined to surf a wave together...which we failed many times but eventually got it........and fell off. we're totally the best :D hahahah. and HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA FOR FRIDAY.

so today's a long weekend and yesterday was erikas birthday. they're celebrating today but im not going =__= still actually need to recover haha. had a concert yesterday and i was so weak that i finished playing the piece and broke out in a sweat. then started crying non stop. embarrassing, but meh :P gonna stay home today and hopefully susan should be here in a while so i can at least not waste the weekend by watching a dvd. KNOCKED UP IS OUT ON DVD :D so yeah, that's week one for you :] stay tuned

ONE DAY TO GO

so urban FINALLY begins tomorrow!!!

SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! today was pretty much our last day of year 9

we did a clean up...ie, take EVERYTHING outta the locker and dump it in my very empty bag :P

we had a church service which was meh, shelby's reflection was hilarious, viv and i are gonna be all "like tots defs biffles" on urban hahahha. mr hall is awesome, hes so good at music O__O maybe thats why hes a music teacher lmfao

THEN WE HAD A BBQ LUNCH :D which was great, free food. wrote in a few trek diaries, got our maths tests back (I PASSED MATHS THIS YEAR!!! METHODS ALL THE WAY BABY *spews*) and got our lockeroom stink-bombed :D ROFL. bec and anna shouldve saved them bombs for the next years year 9's...gosh. hahaha

afterwards, viv and i went to chaddy to check out the new retail loop, which was pretty crap. we got all hyped up over nothing :[ i bought "herbalism" and "breath of fresh air" from lush (hope they work okay) HERBALISM STINKS LIKE SHIT!!!!! but its a nice cleanser i guess. also got a sample moisturiser and stuff...bought deltas album and a dress for like $7.50! viv bought summer heights high which i shall scab off her later, and a choc chip icecream which i ate the cookie haha. it hurt my teeth :[

tomorrow's urban thing is "arcades, lanes and cafes" which is a mini treasure hunt thing, the other group are doing an amaing race kinda thing!! we get that next week. ohhh and on wednesday we get to spend the day with refugees (i bought smiggle coloured pencils for them <3)...i bet i'll cry hahaha. apparently they think its christmas when we give them pressies, mum's complaining that my gift is too expensive. i mean COME ON, $10 isnt that much and it'd be nice to make the kids smile.

HOUSE ARTS '07

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO WAS IN HOUSE ARTS THIS YEAR!!!!

1st place went to jamie, 2nd to akey and clarke and wilky came equal 3rd/last. honestly i thought akey should have won and clarke and wilky shouldn't have been equal. our dance and choir were the best out of everyones (trying to be unbiased here) and our overall thing was just a lot different to the other houses.

akey's was really good, perfect transitions and VIV WAS SO CUTE!!! it was about an author who fell into her story about these little munchkin people (tintonians LOL) who want to kill the evil guy who lives in the castle. the author can't go back to the real world unless she gets the key from him, so she helps the tintonians to kill him by poisoning his milk. their backdrops and arty things were AMAZING (go viv!!), their band (phantom of the opera) was pretty good and their dance was just slutty :] aaand they sang "high" and "we're all in this together" LOL.

jamie's was a rip-off version of the devil wears prada :P the acting and stuff was really good though, the band was freaking amazing as usual. their dance was also pretty creative, they came out of a spaceship and did roboty things :P sarah flipped around, yee.

wilky's was...about a glowing girl O__o theres this geeky girl and her friends vs a bitchy girl and her gang (way too cliche), the bitchy girls give her some stuff and she starts to glow. then she becomes a bitch, but loses her glow one day and goes back to her old friends and realises who her true friends are. their instrumental was monty python stuff which suited the scene really well :]

in short ours was about an aboriginal girl who lived with a white family, and she meets an aboriginal boy who takes her to the nevernever tribe, where she finds out who her real family and mother are. our dance was the confusion going on in her brain which was SO GOOD!!! the strobe lights were awesome hahaha. our instrumental sucked, but i tried =__= at least the singing and tap dance made it interesting (i hope) our choir was amazing, so proud of everyone <3 AND SO WAS OUR BACKDROP!! GO STEPHHHHH!!!! except, she didnt get a bunch of flowers as a thankyou from the presentgiving people :[

wilky and clarke cheered and chanted the most, we were so enthusiastic about it lmfao, but we still lost :] ah well, it was fun running around the oval with sam/min/aidan/erika/kienan afterwards ahhahaaha

job skills training

today was awesome, probably gonna be the best day of careers week. so yesterday we watched some boring clips about work experience and today we met the guy who was in the video HAHA! his name's alf, and he took our group/house for a bit of job skills training...we started off the day with a mock interview which was pretty good. had to wear appropriate clothes and stuff, and i got 42 out of 50 :D got marked down for missing eye contact for a second =__= which is pretty lame. oh well, i'll stare the hell out of the interviewer the next time i get the chance *nods*

afterwards, we wrote up a resume and letter sample...not the most interesting. did a panel elimination interview ish thing (CLOTHING 4 KAGS FAGS LOL) which was strange and hard. but me, steph and aleesha were left at the end :D then! we played/did the 3 minute test. go grab a piece of paper and do this now (shall edit it a bit):

I was the first person to talk out loud haha, i feel pretty stupid :] after that, we filled out and application form and signed it....nobody read the contract we signed (except sally, but she signed it anyway) and it said "by signing this contract you agree that you will be paid one dollar per hour"...WOOPS :D hahahah. alf told us stories about how he became a job skills trainer and stuff, hes hilarious. we role played out sexual harrassment and what an employee can do about it AND HIS WIFE WALKED IN HAHA :P the whole day was really fun, wish we could've done more yesterday instead of waste it on watching videos =__=

careers week

so boring O__O we watched random videos about work experience and did the occupational health and safety test. looked through the job guide, only the creative section looks fun. at this rate, i'm choosing out of doing: photography, makeup artist, cooking, musician, music teaching, psychology or something at the CSIRO. tomorrow we gotta dress as if we were going to a job interview, psh. i dunno what i'll wear actually O__o shall figure that out later :]

period 5 & 6 was awesome, just house arts rehearsing. we ran it through in front of mr hall (the closest person you can get to mr g from summer heights high :D) who said it was the best performance out of the 4 houses he'd seen so far!!! we added a keychange for a final chorus to "my island home" and claves, a drum and a cabasa (the shakey thing...finally worked out the name of it :P) the dance looked awesome to me, and the acting is great as well...dont even TALK to me about our instrumental =_______= jamie sounds SO GOOD and we're SHITHOUSE at the moment. hopefully tomorrow morning's rehearsal will be better or i'll CRY >=|

can't believe i just downloaded firefox especially for blogger. for some reason safari won't load the login box, so i thought i'd try out firefox :] it works, all is good. i like safari better though...not sure why.

things are going good, had speech night & rehearsal on friday. the rehearsal was fun...not the rehearsing part, but the afterwards part :P laser wars with 13 people + 4 randoms :D and our group lost. hahahah, but i came 2nd to min this time <____< wasted 40 minutes waiting for andi & stuff from scotch afterwards...and hardly stayed with them, we were all complaining like crazy ahahah. bought a diary from urban (9 DAYS TO GO!!) which was a rip-off ($15.40) but it's cute and lockable :D haha

saturday was actually fun, we had our chinese school concert :D viv's group were SO GOOD, i reckon everyone was close to tears when it was done (tamara was :P)...our group were prolly 2nd best :P i hated how the teachers had to hold up a microphone the whole time, it ruined the part where johnson hit brian on the head with a book =__= he had a mic in one hand and a broken arm on the other, so how the hell was he meant to hit him...LOL. i felt like an idiot though. gotta wear shorts under skirts all the time or i feel naked...ahahah

went for a bike ride after that...i wanted to ride to the city with dad but he uses my bike and he doesnt have a spare helmet for his oooold bike. i rode around the park 120938120398 times after he got home, the park is SO BORING. i think i rode for about half an hour, then i just sat down and watched people playing cricket.

i seriously have nothing to do. so serious that i might go to the library and park again and its freaking 31 degrees :D ...sunburn and skin cancer, yay =__=

first day back =/

last day of hols was great, i got a new pair of shoes :D black keds with a rainbow at the top and at the back *loves* new shoes always hurt though, i hate that...and theres a little strand of something poking out on the inside that spikes my foot, but oh well *lovesloves* also bought a fossil watch for my piano teacher as a thankyouforteachingmefor10years present, its pretty much a jumble of brown circles joined together. i love it and would have bought it for myself if i hadn't already got myself a watch :P also got steph a swarovski necklace, its a pink heart with a tiny yellow butterfly dangling from a brown ropey thing :D she was so eager to open it she dropped the whole thing on the floor LOL. but it was all good, and steph completely deserves it. WE SHALL BE GRADUATES TOGETHER YAAY

so today was the first day back at school. i got excited about having no maths, but my day was ruined when i found out it was day 7 and not day 2 =/ DIANA'S BACK!!! which is AWESOME. and we've got a new korean international student called Irene i think :] we have a new song for house arts which should hopefully be okay...it's called "My Island Home" by Christine Anu...no acompaniment though..i hope it sounds good =/ orchestra was a shithole, we played the mozart symphony for a WHOLE FREAKING HOUR. and ms barnes was confused why we still accented the 4th beat or whatever...WELL WE'RE FREAKING TIRED. 10 minutes on the queen medley, no fair. plus my teeth are SO retarded cause the elastics have pulled my overbite into an underbite. grr

erika's back from japan, she has a macbook too :D hers was only AU$1300, and her memory is twice the size of mine. gah, australias so expensive. and she has some board game thing on hers that i dont have? but i love mine to bits :] go chess! rofl

susan and i were meant to go to stephs house --> chaddy to celebrate her getting licentiate in piano, but susan had to pack for howqua so she gave her a bracelet and left...i stuck around, but had nothing to buy her =\ we went to chaddy, bought a ring each (stirling silver, and only $5 :D)...steph got sunnies (she said she wants to be a full time fly) and a headband; i got makeup remover and nothing else.

had a coffee and got my foot run over by one of those disabled people cars...owch. we'll probs go out for lunch or dinner tomorrow to celebrate properly and IM GETTING MY BLACK KEDS WITH A RAINBOW TOMORROW :D :D :D if they're still there....gah, i freaking hope so. plus we gotta get steph a pressie, but her family friend bought her what i was gonna get her =\ ah well, i shall have to find something. wellll, aiden and i got there at 11:30 ish, raining on and off and destroying his hair :P ricki was in a rug under a tent, wearing a yellow dress and gold wedges...we got to watch them shoot the first 10 seconds or whatever (the slow intro part) and then they went off (probably shooting the rest) for....3 hours? LOL

then came the part with all the extras where they picked out some of us to walk around and look happy :D the woman was like "would you like to be in the clip?" and i got excited....but she was only talking to aiden...AND she said "do you mind if we use her instead of you?" but oh well, i'll get over it next millenium :P hao got to walk with a random girl and hold hands with her 120938120983 times LOL

they spent ages shooting that part, we had to wait around for another hour or so until they got out the "crane" (which isn't very big) to get a shot of ALL of us dancing around badly and embarrassingly...the guy next to me danced so hard he fell over lmfao...then they picked out a couple and they got to run after each other doing cute things while ricki sat on the grass singing (with socks on ahhaha). i was pretty much ready to leave, when they got us out again for some more bad and embarrassing dancing =/

overall, it was less exciting than i expected, but it was really cool to watch how they film a vidclip

finally got to see superbad with lisa yesterday haha. the funny bits are hilarious and mclovin MAKES the movie. apart from that it was pretty shithouse =/ i swear every line seth says has the word "fuck" in it somehow :P lisa and i were wedged in between couples who just made out through the entire film...not nice O__o went to photoplus afterwards (first time this holidays, congratulate me :P), wandered around for a bit and went home :]

and today i'm trying to do work :] i was worried about not finishing it, but now i can cram last minute if i have to cause amanda sent me her work :D LOVE YOU!

holiday updaaate :]

2nd time round (2 days ago), i went with juls & min to see superbad. we're all old enough but the problem this time was that min didn't have an ID. she tried buying concession, but no. the hilarious part was that i almost got her to use her passport :] juls brought her concession card, which doesnt have her DOB on it, so we yet again failed at watching superbad. but that's okay cause im seeing it with lisa on thursday which means 1) SHES OLD ENOUGH and 2) SHE HAS AN ID. graahh

we ended up watching ratatouille in halfpipe, which was AWESOME. a room with beanbags in it, 3 people to a bag. we just zonked out and watched the cutest and one of the best animated movies i've ever seen. soooo comfy, really didn't want to get up after it finished :] afterwards we just went around central doing the usual girly things. when juls left, we went to myer to look at electronics and stuff :] people kept hogging the wii/guitarhero (THE GUY WAS THERE FOR LIKE AN HOUR AND A HALF O__O)/playstation. went to the cosmetics place to play with mac and look for mariahs new fragrance, but i couldnt find it...stupid daisy by marc jacobs was everywhere though.

and yesterday i went with susan and steph to bridge rd for more shopping :] bought cheap things (shorts and a top, $15 for the two :P), and finally found a plain ring...err, three rings :] thick, medium and thin. the thick looks crap with the other two, so i don't wear it...hopefully i can get away with it at school?

melb show + MACBOOK!

so min randomly decided to go to the show last week, and because she wanted to randomly meet andrew and a massive gang of asians, we went yesterday :] MEANING WE WERE ONLY GOING TO GO AS A LITTLE GROUP OF THREE PEOPLE. julia cancelled last minute, so it was only min, tamara and i. we had fun though, entry ticket was $13 (cause im 14 *cough*), i only spent money on 2 rides and 2 or 3 game things...i'm cheap like that :P i even brought my own food hahaha. didn't find the show THAAAT amusing, but it was a fun day anyhow :D

AND TODAY I GOT A MACBOOK :D :D :D! i was originally gonna pay for it myself, but turns out i didn't have enough money for a 2GB RAM and microsoft office for mac...so dad paid :P i get to pay back in my own time too, yay. so i pretty much spent all day moving crap from this laptop to my new baby :] i love all the magneticness about it (battery cord, lid, remote control) and all these random surprises i discover. i still have to install the net, but everything is SO EASY on a mac O__O didn't need any CDs to install the printer or my camera...and i dont even need to bother with the webcam, cause theres already an inbuilt one on the edge of the lid. but yeah, enough about that. i need to give it a name :] shall keep you updated.

so susan and i went to dfo today ($$$$ byebye.), bought a little miss chatterbox shirt :] trained back to melbourne central to go watch superbad, but susans underage and i couldnt get a ticket for her...so i bought hairspray tickets instead

turns out steph was nearby, so we went back, refunded them hairspray tickets and got steph to buy susans ticket

only to find out that they would probably check for ID at the ticket ripping place =__=

so we planned it all out, possibly use steph's ID and pass susan off as steph...but no, we chickened out :] susan went back and refunded for hairspray HAHA. but we got a different ticket person, thank god :P

hairspray was awesome, made me feel so happy afterwards :] john travolta ROCKS LOL. shall see superbad with legal people (sorry amanda :[)

SCHOOL'S OUT

but the thing that hit me today was that we only have 3 years of schooling left. which is yeah, exciting...but more sad than anything. school is where we've all grown up in, where we've met all our lifelong friends...it's pretty much all we've known.

not saying i'm not thankful that the holidays are around...i mean THANK GOD THEY'RE HERE *goes crazy* we should get more than 2 weeks break, seriously. but then we've got 2 more weeks of proper assessment (YESSSSSS), another week and it's house arts, another weeks and URBAN!!

SO EXCITED YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYY.

on a less exciting note, i just wanna put this out there:

everybody is important, special and unique. don't ever let yourself think that nobody cares about you; or that nobody thinks you're worth anything. because i think you'll find that there are many more people who love you than you'd expect. we all have our low point in life, but the important part is finding your way back up again. never lose hope.

susans baaaack!! oh and also...

my abs don't hurt anymore :] sam and i did 50 sit ups in PE and i died the next day...seriously, don't do that ladies if you're unfit like me...unless you dont wanna have children =/ but i slept on them funny on friday so i woke up saturday and felt really bruised all over. which meant me having issues all day. got told to "sit like a girl" in chinese school <_< JUST CAUSE I CAN'T SIT STRAIGHT......and wear girl clothing. they're in the washhh. or at least, that's the excuse i'm giving :] ahhaha. so yeah, we rehearsed them plays that we have to perform next month, laughed at the people who had to wear the asian clothes...then laughed at myself because the teacher was gonna make ME wear them too <_< then argued for a bit and got my way. WHAT KIND OF MOTHER WEARS TRADITIONAL CHINESE DRESSES, HEELS AND EARRINGS WHILE COOKING?! O__o i'll probably find a dress or something, just to keep her happy <_<

so in the afteroon i got bored and ran to susans place (DIDN'T DIE!! YEAAH.), waited for her to finished her stuff while i sprawled across her bed doing...nothing. but that was fun all the same, at least it stretched them abs. when she was done with her crap, we walked to blockbuster and got some dvd's, spent the rest of the night watching "the illusionist" (TOP MOVIE, GO WATCH IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY :D) and some of "the perfect stranger" ...the latter one was strange, we got bored of it. i finished it off today and its really unpredictable O__O takes ages to actually get the plot going, but hey :] OHHHH and i watched "i am sam" ...HOLY COW ITS SO FREAKING SAD. I SWEAR TO GOD I HAD THIS PILE OF TISSUES NEXT TO ME WHEN I WAS DONE :'''[ beaaautiful storyline, amazing acting, soundtrack, cinematography...why the hell hadn't i found this movie earlier? wish i had someone to cry with though. tried starting "the sisterhood of the travelling pants" that we borrowed for the other kids but it wasn't that interesting =/ i think i'm starting to grow out of those kinda movies.

REALLY REALLY WANNA WATCH HAIRSPRAY AND DECEMBER BOYS!!!! friday, geography excursion to cape schank, balnarring beach and somer's yacht club. wayyy better than toolangi, had a fun bus trip up with kiki and juls doing them classic min questions :] cape schank was pretty cool, fair bit of exercise going up and down the stairs to the seaside...bit of field sketching and stuff :] balnarring beach was sooo relaxing, we sat down for lunch and annoyed the seagulls...the weather was soo good HURRY THE HELL UP SUMMER TIME O__O!! somers yacht club was meh, i can't remember much. by now i was pretty damn tired :P had a sleepy bus trip back and that's pretty much it :]

yesterday i FINALLY got to watch the simpsons movie O__o after chinese school, viv and i went to grab sushi, get kiki from the train station and then we checked out the photoplus in glenny :] its heaps big, probably 4 or 5 times the size of the one in the city but the same number of booths. tonnes of costumes too :D we got amanda to come along, met up with juls and watched the movie. SPIDER PIG...SPIDER PIG :D :D la la la ahhahahah

OKAY so i've been at the 40hr famine for almost 30 hours and NOT A SINGLE WORD (minus the accidental sound that came out as NOOO)...BUT NO PROPER WORDS!!!

AND THE CHINESE SCHOOL TEACHER THOUGHT I WAS STUPID!! THOSE ARE THE EXACT WORDS "sophie you're a smart person, why are you doing such a stupid thing?" THE HARD PART WAS RESISTING THE URGE TO GIVE HER THE "^%$#!" SIGN!!!

i was trying to explain that the point was to go for 40 hours without something you love/need. so obviously i picked talking :] and i was trying to explain, my point of doing it is to

1) understand how it feels to be disabled in one way or another and not have enough money for support

2) raise money for laos!!?!!!

3) CHALLENGE MYSELF
4) test my patience. and boy has my patience been tested ><

i feel like i'm 3/4 into a marathon and i've been told to go back because i'm an idiot. i don't get how some people can be so selfish like that, i was actually having a lot of fun (despite having my talkingbook stolen for a bit) until she ruined it for me. 40hr famine

so this year i finally get to do the 40hr famine. amanda and i are doing 40 hours without TALKING. yeah its harder than it looks

so far 8 hours down and i havent said a word. i think i accidentally went noooo to min but i meant it to just be a sound =/ it was hilarious, we were late to maths so the maths teacher locked us out. he was like WHY ARE YOU LATE and i held up my "i am doing the 40 hr famine...40hrs no talking" sign and hes just like >= get in and copy whats on the board

ahahhahah. min lasted 3 hours and gave up cause she accidentally said "it's a rock" to erika. amanda accidentally said something to hannah cause she was concentrating on felting and forgot :]

i've raised $113.70 so far, but for some reason i have $123.20 O__o i either stuffed it up, or havent given amanda change...hmm

so yeah, this is pretty fun actually. apart from the fact that i REALLY REALLY wanna talk.

house arts 01

first rehearsal for choir in house arts was pretty fantastic :D i remember last year, we got through about 1-2 lines in an entire lunchtime...this time, we got down pretty much half the song!! without the piano too :] except....whenever we next have a piano, everybody'll have to sing everything 4 notes higher =/ yeahyeah, perfectpitchgirl, shut up.

currently writing parts for the instrumental, so far we have 1 cello, 1 flute, 1 piano and 1 percussion. not a great turnout. i need a violin and more percussionists, but that shouldn't be too hard to find. I ALSO REALLY REALLY NEED A TRUMPET, SAX OR CLARINET!!! if that fails, i'll have to play flute and get someone else to conduct.

dammit, i should really learn to write music in pencil and not fineliner =/

IT'S ALL OVERR

...and somewhat even worth cramming most of it into the last few hours. literally.

the test paper was the usual 4 part harmony, 2 part harmony and melody. set work (unfinished symphony by schubert) had questions on the form of the 1st movement, writing out the first 6 bars of the 1st subject, instrumentation of the 2nd movement and some stupid shit "describe the texture of the first 6 bars of the 2nd movement". the rest of the general knowledge was on the sonata, concert overture (which i had no examples for =/), the cadenza, trombone and writing out the written range of the trumpet in B flat and horn in F. i reckon i'll pass.

yeah so that was just music mumbojumbo for me to laugh at when im 20, if i'll be around til then :P took me about 2 hours and a lot of stuffing up. they didnt gimme enough room for one of them and i had to rub it all out and start again with crammed big writing hahaha. i was in a massive hall with the 2nd and 5th grade theory and musicianship people, it was crazy. there was never a second of silence, it was this constant noise combination of pencils, rubbers, crap tables and chairs. not that i was complaining really :] i like noise.

sigh. well im fifteen and a weekish old :] like viv says IM OLD. oh and speaking of old, happy bday aiden, hao, lisa, randomchickatlaserwars, yao, johnson, mum and whoever else had a birthday this month :] i hope i got all that right O__o ITS IN ORDER TOO. none of you guys would ever read this BUT HEY :D like i said, feeling sentimental :P its a long word aye. i don't even know what it means?

just went for a run, even the 5 o'clock sun in the middle of winter for 15 minutes made me really brown O__o it'll fade in an hour though. hahaha. also bought witch hazel, i hope it works? it smells like SHIT but oh well :P

chinese school was pretty normal today. normal is pretty crazy really, debated (politely yelled) about buying cars and stuff, we wouldve won if castrato didnt yell whatever he yelled at the end :] i felt like a man the rest of the girls came in 15 minutes later :P

theory exam on wednesday, im freaking out but so calm at the same time. i hardly know anything but it'll sink in eventually :] it seems the same every year, but i somehow get by with a high distinction anyway. plus, i borrowed the answer book from my theory teacher so i'll just memorise everything word for word. that's the way i roll :]

house arts is pretty much starting to kick in, its so goddamn hard writing out the music parts to walk on by by ear :/ but once i got started, it was pretty fun. can't wait til the cast list goes up, and i really wanna see the dance :P and its not even all choreographed yet, haha.

i just wanna let this out, but i think most people have heard about the girl (claire oliver i think) who is dying of skin cancer. it's so brave of her to tell her story to everybody in the condition she's in, and i'm so glad that what she's done has changed at least some people's opinions on solariums. i think they're passing a law for it to be illegal if you're under 16, and even if you're 16&17, you need parental consent :] its really nice to know that even if you're about to leave the world, you've changed it in some way ^^ happy birthday claire, god bless you xx

also, i felt like reflecting on the year so far. maybe being fifteen does mean i've grown up O__o last year on my birthday i was busy losing my voice, pulling muscles and catching hats at the divas with viv, vic, sam and carly. well, i only caught one hat :] but anyway, that was back then, in our little group. then shit happens, as it does when you're a teen but no matter how crap i felt back then, 2007 eventually came around and new friendships were made, old friendships were patched up and life looked pretty fantastic :D went to the maybelline masterclass with lisa and brought back a truckload of freebies *LOVES*.

first big thing that happened at school was probably THE PAJAMA GAME :D :D :D yeah, even bandgeeks are allowed to have fun :P more new friends were made (whom i should have called last holidays but err, woops :\ sorry guys :P) and it was just a whole roll of fun in general :D

photography and enterprising multimedia were the best subjects ever back then, now i get stuck with media studies and and....net nature =__= the latter is just pointless. but oh well.

the lauriston fair/ashburton fair was also heaps fun and it was awesome to see katharine and susan again. snow cones being thrown to the ground, spotting hamish and andy (...they happened at the same time :P), going on rides, icecream, beaniekids for $1, horrible tanlines, sunburns and tattoos...ah the list shall go on forever :]

this blog is getting long. i think i shall continue it on later when i next eat a block of chocolate :] but there's tonnes to look forward to, ESPECIALLY HOUSE ARTS AND URBAN!!!!!! UNO IN THE HOTEL AT 3AM, SHITYEAHH!! 4 weeks of school to go, another 2 and all the fun stuff shall begin......................................
