the weather was amazing, so i went out for a walk, took a longgg route to the shops, picked up milk for mum and browsed around in this cool store...when i left, it occurred to me that it's father's day tomorrow, so i turned back and went back to that cool store to look for something for dad
obviously, a golf quotes book caught my attention first, but i didn't have enough cash on me, so i picked up a little cable turtle for $11.95...dad and his crazy tangle of mobile phone/gps/golf gps/laptop wires *rollseyes*
so i was writing a little note to put with the present and i'm not sure why, but i keep tearing up and crying...i know, i know, i'm an emotional sook but he's put up with me for 16 years and he's been the best dad anyone could ask for. even though the only thing he can talk to me about is school and my future, i know he wants the best for me and i know i'll do my best to be the daughter that he wanted to raise me to be. i love you dad, and when i grow up i promise you'll be the proudest father in the world (if you aren't already, of course :P)
brb, need to wipe those tears that fell on the floor/fell into my yoghurt
xo
(ps, the neighbour was gardening and a piece of rock flew into the side of my face at 12938km/hr, so i have a ridiculous red blotch on my cheek)
