dream festival & more photos

The weather was AMAZING this morning, worthy of shorts WOOHOO. Went out with Lisa to go catch a movie, caught the train at around 12 to MC and realised that all the movies were on at 2:30ish :( Decided on House Bunny hahaha...

So we had to bum around for 2 hours aye?! Ate lunch first (she had pork buns aaahahah asian), then decided to check out the Dream Festival since I'd seen ads in the papers EVERYWHERE for at least 2 weeks...sheesh

We got to Birrarung Marr and there's a whole FIELD of cloudhead eyefaced white men...which is fair enough since it was the dreamfest logo, but it was still really random...most of them were plain white with a mirror in the eyeball (lol at us)

But there were a few that uhh, stood out.

A bit furthur on was...an inflatable sculpture display?

In order from left to right, top to bottom: "Citadel" by Richard Stringer, "Embracing Together" by Rebecca Etchell, "Spiritus" by Maria Kozic, "Black Betty Daydreaming" by Ian Bracegirdle, "Two Snails" by Mark Schaller, "Tall Tales" by Geoffrey Ricardo, "Clown 1" and "Clown 2" by Brook Andrew, "Bear, My Soul" by Bruce Armstrong, "Puff" by Caroline Rothwell, "Skull" by Andrew Walsh, "The Astronaut" by Peter Walsh, "Sailing to Byzantium" by Christopher Langton, "Peace Piece" by Deborah Halpern

(I hope I got the order right...)

Went back to MC after that, shopped around a bit, Lisa tried on some stuff aaaand bought nothing :D I REALLY want some of the tribal jewellery Sportsgirl is selling atm but yknow...don't wanna pay over $10 haha

House Bunny was pretty good, Anna Faris is hilaaaarious :P she plays dumb so well omg I crapped my pants at this:

Shelley: "How did you know I was here?"
Natalie: "A little bird told me :)"
Shelley: "Oh...what a nice bird" (or something like that)

next scene

Shelley: "How did you know I was here?"
Oliver: "A little bird told me :)"
Shelley: "I GOTTA MEET THIS FRICKEN BIRD!!"

aaahahahah yes and that is all :)

xo
