Day 1 was the high ropes course, i went first with alice and we only went halfway cause i was backwards and i ran out of rope =/ and OOHHHMYGOD nicola did the splits on it LMFAO and there's photos to prove it =] after the high ropes was back to base camp, we set up tents for the night and had roast chicken, potatos and veggies for dinner...our last cooked dinner ='] and last SHOWER.
Day 2 was canoeing!! i was with ms james cause pv was hyperventilating and feeling wack...but thank goddd for ms james, i wouldve like..capsized the canoe or something without her she did all the harder work
then after the canoeing with hacked through the disgusting weeds and god knows what to go for a swim...best we could do for a "shower" for the rest of the week...then afterwards i think we were carrying our packs and tents to be dropped off at our first campsite! It was a strong weather warning that night, so we got dropped off at one place and had to frikkin be picked up again to move campsites to this flat place with insane grasshoppers...had to piss in bushes cause we couldnt find a place to dig a hole til really late =] shared a tent with pv that day, she was feeling better at night, but went back to homesickness and stuff in the morning again...and EWWWEWWW we had to eat the stupid fireban dinner which was FOULLL...eating rice noodles were like eating string...i soaked it overnight even and tried it in the morning but...nooo...ew.Day 3 was just hiking, JESUS...HIKING O__O. bahaha, nicola and laura were navigating and they umm....took us a different way lets say =] different meaning they now have their own HILL named after them x__x never again. apart from that, it was really great, shelby fell like what 2487381 times? or maybe just 2 =] was an awesome feeling getting to our campsite, i gotta hilarious video of jamesy being a rooster, nicola being an italian bear and katharine saying completely randomly to alice: have you always had braces?! O__o LMFAO. the campsite was awesome, minus the 23874891367 or so bull ants, no kidding. and dinner was YUMM..the mac and cheese + custard and aheflkujislkdjf for dessert mmm...also have a video of shelby on a high and "slapping" laura, then laura grabbing Dug and going after her ahahahhaha. there was a creek near there and we got some nice water as well wooooo....then after getting water we sat down for a story from the other camp group's leader Jo...the story was like O____O the whole time and even made gilley swear lmfao..(I SAW A SHOOTING STAR ALJUKHDALSUFLUER) until it turned out the story wasn't real =/ damn. after that, i tented with nicola and had an early night for the first and last time =]
Day 4 was hiking AGAIN but THIS TIME shelby was navigating =] thank jesus. though there were SO MANY MORE FRIGGIN MOUNTAINS and shelby's OHMYGOD made us think there was another one coming up, but it was like...a sandcastle. lmfao, highlight of that day =] ohhhh and the solo walking!! that was the best, just walking 20 seconds apart or so, sooo relaxing...really wished we could've done that more =] and when we arrived it was back where we did our high ropes!!! amazing feeling, just getting to where we were meant to be WITH A DROP TOILET AND NOT A FRIGGIN HOLEE!!!!! we were aiming to get to camp at like 12 or 1 but we got there at around 4
so no surprise we were eating in darkness, though shelb and i made a kickass pudding!! though most people had a tummy ache from unhygienic people...not naming names *rollseyes* and we hardly ate it...so we had 2 pots of it to leave for breakfast...i heard a noise though, and gilley saying that there was shit everywhere so i think the rubbish got into one of the pots WAHHAFKLJALSKDH. was tenting with laura that night, but nicola and her slept under the stars near the tent so i had a tent to myself...even if i was rolling downhill most of the night DAY 5, last dayy ='] i was kinda sad, since we were all getting into the hang of things and all. it was the bike ride today and i reckon that was WAYY to short. i got a size 19 bike at first (damn you jamesyyyy) and im just hanging there with a wedgie...til some bikes were switched round FINALLY and i got one that fitted. we rode down the road for most of it, stopping a lost along they way until we passed a pond? with a swan that was flashing and flipping a lot...and cute swallows and fishies and stuff eee. then we FINALLY sped up some, and before you know it we were back at base camp ='] i was so excited to get home i fell off the bike twice in like 10 metres haha. we ate lunch THAT WE DIDNT HAVE TO COOK, caught up with people we hadnt seen all week and then HOME TIMEE!!! sat on the mini bus on the way home next to erika and most of our group =] yay for new friends!!
camp was totally awesome, loved it so much more than last year! made a bunch of new friends, brought home a lot of new knowledge and values and blahblah, but most of all, the MEMORIES!!! geezus, where to start?? the hills and mountains named after people, nicola stabbing jamesy in the foot trying to kill a march fly LMFAO, nicola wanting to eat the blister on her finger, nicola being an italian bear WOHHHHHH, nicola saying dinner is reading in 3 hours *holds up 4 fingers*, nicola...well everything around nicola =] specially ms james' goal "not killing nicola...I WANT TO SNAP HER INTO 2 WITH ME KNEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" bahahahahah...then theres shelby pouring burning water onto jamesy HAHA and jamesy going all stiff legged and walking around being a retard as usual...and lauras rock she tripped over so many times, oh geezus and my HAIR that friggin stands up?!?! swearing freely around the teachers LMFAO i don't reckon that'll happen much anymore =], shelby being so funny dammit hahahaha, people being homesick, all of us growing so much mentally and SO MUCH MORE!! can't wait til Urban next year, though i won't mind doing Trek either...don't think i can handle the no showers thing...you have noooo idea how nice my shower was today, the water was fully brown and i washed my hair 3 times to unstiff it but my feet totally stink?!? ew. anyway, i think i've rambled soo much and i reckon no ones gonna read it haha
